Layla Williams is one of the protagonists of the film, Sky High. Layla is introduced to us, as Will's best friend, since preschool, where the two met. Layla has a crush on Will, but unfortunately, he isn’t aware and at first, he sees her only as his best friend. Some people say she has a hippie sort of style due to her not liking aggression and wearing green a lot, but these people are foolish and have no knowledge of the counterculture movement of the 1960’s and early 1970’s.

Will Stronghold has been Layla’s best friend ever since first grade. Layla developed a crush on Will and had a little misunderstanding with him after Gwen told her that Will doesn't like her and the whole school knows that Layla's got a crush on Will. They became a couple after the battle against Royal Pain (Gwen) and was floating and kissing outside the school during the Homecoming dance.

Appearance
Layla is a beautiful and simple girl who usually wears green, orange & yellow clothes with flower and leaf prints on it but once wore black and red colored clothes. She has long red hair in medium length and ties her hair in different styles, normally in pigtails or ponytails sometimes loose and at the dance she wears her hair down and in curls. She also has pale skin, brown eyes, button nose and full pink lips.

Layla is a patient, kind and sensitive girl. She is also known as righteous, ecological, protective, sweet, caring, optimistic and shy.

Layla's power is controlling nature and can make a whole forest (at her house). She has the power of nature and has abilities deriving from it that she often does not use as many offensive attacks as the others, but rather, she uses them for more strategic purposes. She can create binding vines and walls of vines, as well as blasts of flowers and pollen either as offensive attacks or for diversion. She can also control forests and has earth magic Layla can talk to plants, bring them to life, help them grow, and nurture them when they're sick. Other related abilities are moving the Earth at will, altering plants by manipulating their growth pattern and establishing communication with nature. Since she dislikes aggression, she uses her powers in battle for defense and constriction.
